I'd like my money back then Buttz or at least re-organise another themed event for those who were kept in the dark.

We saw you,.. but decided to keep quiet. We only had half a dozen sausages you see......
Hang on,.. hang on,.. what beach were you on?
Was there a specific beach, you never said?
I just assumed you meant the beach by Ayr Pavillion? That's the nearest one to me - I only know that one and the Pleasure Beach.
Yeah,.. that's the one.
Oh well,... there's always next year......
I'll be visiting Ayr in a couple of weeks
Several weeks too late for the party but hey-ho!
<font size="4" face="Arial">hey, don't lay all the blame at my door. I seem to remember a certain barnleys sasquatch being a co procurer of said sausages. It needed two of us to shift 1400.Quote:

Barnsley Sasquatch .. no surprize there then ?
I've done many stupid things in my time but that one would be in the top 5
Agreed. the question that remains is 'Why?'
Why did we need 1400 frankfurters? There were six boxes sat next to the van when we got collared and we said some locals had helped us load out the gear and they must have picked them up and brought them down to the van thinking they were part of our equipement.
I don't think the guy bought it for one moment but it created enough confusion for us to load up and leg it before he called the plod.
ha ha! Sucker!
